Objectives

  • Increase opportunities for development

    • Increase the professional opportunities for women, promote leadership, enhance career development

  • Support women of all ages and stages

    • Supporting  female students  in their early careers is vital to increasing our numbers and ensuring the future for WIP. But we also need to support and retain Mid-career and Senior Career women who may be struggling with promotion, grants, research, publications, time-management and barriers to leadership. Too many women are struggling in their careers due to burnout and too many senior women are drifting away from mentoring and sponsoring the younger women. WIP aims to keep all women engaged and actively supporting each other.

  • Create relationships 

    • The positive  benefits of professional and personal relationships are numerous and profound. The WIP Mentorship program helps create lasting contacts and positive friendships in our field. 

Requirements

This exclusive benefit for Mentors and Mentees like career coaching, professional development, and networking opportunities.

  • Must be an AmSECT member in good standing

  • Must be a CCP or CCP Emeritus

  • Must be a women
